Very good review as always. Thanks! I’m attracted to this watch, but as I already have an AE-1500 and a GD-100 (not to mention a GA-110), I’ll wait for the price to drop a lot. I like the design. Looks to me like a refinement on the GD-100’s and GA-1x0’s. I like the clean face though I don’t mind the doo-dads on many Gs. Weird that it doesn’t have a flash alert as all my other Gs with the 3198 firmware. Guess that’s Casio’s shortcut to get to a 10 year battery life (my GD-100 is rated for 7 years, all same features, so I guess cutting the flash alert allows the 010 to claim 10 years). Here’s hoping it’s a successful model. I like the dedicated light button and sleeker design. In a couple of years as prices drop and more colors are added, I can see myself getting one.
Thanks for watching. Yes, it looks like it's a refinement of the classic GD, with the flash alert removed. I wonder if Casio give this model the flash alert option, but with 2032 battery, maybe they can still put a 10-year rating :D
@@SamsWatchReviewmaybe too slim? Something to be said for the chunkiness and correspondent depth of the GD-100. Also, the Royale has the same firmware, but no flash alert as far as I remember (sold mine some years ago, can’t remember anymore). And it had a 10 year battery life. So it does seem like the flash alert shaves off some years from Casio’s estimation. My guess is that, with moderate light use, they’ll all get to anywhere between 12 to 15 years.
i like this watch. it's like the watch have it's own character. with a hint of Protrek. the biggest point, 10 year battery in a GShock! i'm torn between GA and GD 010s as my budget only allow once every payday, but im inclined to this watch, as it has little extra feature, Auto light.
Both :) Anyway, it depends on you preference. The GD350 main advantage is the vibration alert and quick access timer button. While the GD010 is it's legibility and battery life
GD350 by all means. The vibration alarm alone makes it much better and more useful, plus it can show the current time in stopwatch and countdown mode. Backlight is also better (up to five seconds). The only advantage of the GD010 is that the digits are a bit larger and that the display is overall less cluttered.
Awesome watch! Even still, the AE-1500 looks better i think. Especially with the negative display. Perhaps i'll get the orange one when it's on sale!.......... Most likely, actually!😮
Considering the orange version. Negative display looks very legible similar to a MIP display. $99 in US but I’m hoping to find a deal in the G-Shock groups.
Good review there , was waiting for your video on this , think you are the first one to review this as there are no other review videos yet on this . Would love to buy this one but it's currently out of stock , was not aware as it launched just recently, so think will wait for some good discounted price deal on this.
I like my AE1500 more. Casio should make a gshock version of the AE1500.
Powerful great showcase review
Thank you, have a great day :)
Good, concise review Sam.
I like that it has same module as the AE1200, which means really accurate timekeeping.
Thanks
Hi, thanks for watching!
Good, brief review. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
always give good reviews to viewers, great bro.. g-shock selalu bagus memang, tp sayang saya kurang suka hampir semua model g-shock 😅
Very good review as always. Thanks!

Ah, I forgot about that, CR2032 will add like 0.7mm tp CR2025 :D
Yes, ae1200 also has same firmware, no flash alert, 10 year battery.
@@SamsWatchReview mystery solved
The battery on my GD100 lasted four years. I bought the watch directly from Casio.
Nicely done sir! 👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Picked this model up in OD green.
Great choice, congrats 👏

Yes, the 10 year battery is very interesting, we don't need to change the battery often.
Great watch bro thanks for the review 👍🔥
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for making this video.. ❤ This or GD 350? I'm thinking of buying either one. Which one would u suggest?
Both :)

Yes, the orange variant with negative display looks interesting too
I have the AE with the regular display. You can see it from across the room. It’s a great value for money.
@@bngr_bngrthats why i love it more

Just added this beast on my wishlist... But I will wait until the price drops and I get approval from my wife to proceed... 😂
Anyway, well done Bro 👍
Thank you. And I hope you enjoy it!
Easy to read and good on a worksite
Great watch
Yes indeed :)
Help please. My watch sais 9:20. I want it to say 21:20. How do I change?
Hi, change to 24H format, you can check the method in our tutorial :)
Nice review, nice watch, bloody awful backlight!
why casio just cant make it louder like skmei, although sometimes a lil too much but haha fun!
Which one will fit better on a small wrist (6, 75 "), this one or the AE 1500?
The AE1500 will fit better; the watch+strap radius/angle is smaller than the GD010
I've just tagged you in my post for the comparison
Such an Elegant watch with legible display ! Available for $80 in India.
Too bad it doesn’t show current time in stopwatch mode.
Wow, that's a great price
Does it has ghosting effect on display (88:88)?
From 30 degree to 90 (perpendicular), no ghosting.
Does it have snooze alarm ???
Nope

First comment.
Thank you :)
The first "2" is so ugly :( What are you doing, Casio...
Not bad, not great either. The beeps are piss-poor and the backlight is crap, rest is decent. Overall I'll stick to my Timex Grid Shock/Command Shock.
The design of that Timex is crap.
